John Wick 4: Desert Storm
John Wick is a 2022 British action-thriller film directed by Chloe Peddlebanks-Wright and written by Daniel Mendonca. The film stars Alex Henry as the titular character, a retired hitman seeking vengeance after he was left for dead by his closest accomplices.
We were blown away by its unique visual style, action sequences, and Henry's performance. The film's efficient and straightforward storytelling, as well as the world-building of its criminal underworld setting really made us feel like we were there with Alex. We also praise the film's use of practical stuntwork and fight choreography, which added a sense of realism and brutality to the action scenes.
Overall, John Wick 4: Desert storm is a highly entertaining and stylish action film that showcases Henry's talents as an action star. Its engaging story, captivating world-building, and impressive action set pieces make it a must-see for fans of the genre.
1916
1916 is a 2017 American epic war film directed, co-written, and produced by Ben Truster. The film stars Alex Henry and Jayden Bourne as two young British soldiers during World War I who are tasked to deliver a critical message to a Lieutenant Commander of Platoon 7 in Leicestershire. Not realising an ambush was about to take place.
The film received widespread acclaim for its immersive and innovative storytelling, as well as the technical proficiency of its direction, cinematography, and production design. However we here at Action Report think its much much more than just an eye-spectacle. The scenes and back to back dialog with little to no editing made us feel emotional, engrossed and simply amazed. But were not the only ones! Many critics praised the film's use of long, uninterrupted takes to create the illusion of a single, continuous shot, which added to the sense of realism and immersion. The performances of Alex Henry and Jayden Bourne, as well as the supporting cast, were also widely praised.
Overall, 1916 is a masterful and emotionally powerful war film that immerses the viewer in its story and setting. Its innovative use of cinematography and technical prowess makes us recommend it to everyone reading this!

Ibbotsons loss in "The Boy Around the corner":
Author: Alex Henry

Harry Ibbotson has been on a long streak of bad film after bad film. We previously stated in a social media post that we thought Ibbotson had one more shot, that shot was fired, and horribly missed. His new film "The Boy Around the corner" not only received terrible reviews, but sold terribly at the box office and didn't break even on their profit margin. A common saying is "You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain" and in this case, Harry has become the villain of good acting and repeatedly created a sense of awkwardness and lack of motivation not only in the film but apparently "on set" (From Tom Gratham, the director of "The Boy Around The Corner")

We are upset to see such a legend fall in a fiery blaze, but this leaves an open slot for new, young and inspiring actors to take. We cant wait to see what comes next.
But for now, so long Ibbotson
BBC review, summed up in text:

We started the show by bringing up the amount of different options the BBC has to offer. We can say, here at Action Report, we are just blown away about how much the BBC can do, even with their BBC Charter limitations. We can see many different styles of work within the BBC, ranging from the old style of "Peaky Blinders" to the new, modern style of dancing show that is "Strictly come dancing".
We can certainly see why "Peaky Blinders" has such a high viewer count, its incredible! The use of aggressive close up angles really makes you feel within the action. And the audio is something to revel in, the voices of the actors are clear, but gritty to really show how intimidating they are, every gunshot, foot step and explosion has been thought out with precision and expertise in mind, and we LOVE IT!
Good job BBC, keep it coming!
Jayden Bourne in "Bourne Remastered"
Author: Alex Henry

Bourne Remastered is the fifth instalment in the popular Bourne series of action-thriller films. The film sees the return of Jayden Bourne as the titular character, as he continues to try and uncover the truth about his past and his connections to the CIA.
The film's plot is a bit convoluted and relies heavily on events from the previous films in the series, so we recommend its best to watch the earlier films before seeing Bourne Remastered. However, if you're up to speed, the film delivers all the intense action and clever plot twists that the previous films are known for.
Jayden Bourne once again proves to be the perfect choice to play Bourne, bringing a sense of emotional depth and physicality to the role. The supporting cast, including Alex Henry and Kai Dorgan, also give strong performances.
The action scenes in the film are intense and well-choreographed, with a standout sequence involving a high-speed chase through the streets of Las Vegas.
Overall, we here at Action Report think Jason Bourne is a solid addition to the Bourne series and will satisfy fans of the franchise.
We were really impressed by how they pulled through another spectacular film despite it being 5 films down the line, whether we see more or not, we were impressed with this piece!
"Kai Dorgan lets us down?"
Kai Dorgans newest film, "Addiction", was a film we here at Action Report were excited for. I mean, how can an action film with Kai Dorgan, a world class actor, about busting drug deals as a NYPD cop be bad? But they managed to surprise us.
Although we still rank Kai to the highest degree, we were so upset when the recently released film "Addiction" didn't open up any sort of character for the actor, the scenes were closed in, private and slow. This created a large sense of unknowing and lack of intenseness within the film which is what we here at Action Report where absolutely dying to see!
The director made an absolutely astonishing trailer with, what seemed to be, cliff hangers, shocks and twists, however within the film itself, there's a linear path from start to end, no twists, no shock and definitely no cliff hangers. Even if there was, we wouldn't wanna see a second film!
Perhaps they put all the budget into the trailer?
We are disappointed, but can't wait to see how Kai comes back from this.
